MAR 09: Sea Day #3

When we went to bed last night, our clocks were set to Atlantic Standard Time and Eastern Standard Time. This morning, they were on Atlantic Standard Time and Eastern Daylight Time.

The only four countries in the Caribbean that changed to Atlantic Daylight Time were the Bahamas, Cuba, Haiti, and Turks & Caicos. Since we will be visiting none of those on the back half of our cruise, the 'spring forward' we did last Monday getting onto Atlantic Standard Time will be the only time change we do for our entire trip.

Oops! I had not left the Daylight Savings e-switch activated on an old phone I use as a bedroom clock when we travel. This caused the clock to advance an hour, making my expectation of morning coffee arriving one long before the knock on our stateroom door.

I realize the story is not exactly a knee-slapper, and I would be naive to expect sympathy for waiting for a stateroom coffee delivery, but daily blog content is scarce on sea days.
